Our annual celebration of Down East’s traditions beginning Friday evening with the Core Sound Chow Down and the Island’s “Bring Back the Lights” opening night.
The first weekend of December has grown to be the Island's homecoming weekend with the Decoy Festival at the school, craft sales all along the way, yard sales, fund-raisers and Down East hospitality every mile of the way.
The Museum will be in full Core Sound Christmas mode with the Gallery of Trees and decorations throughout.
Saturday will offer everything from scallop fritters to sweet puppies, artists and carvers, online auction, and musical performances. The next day, join us for Sunday morning church and breakfast.
Our live auction will be held at 2pm Saturday - in the big tent! Be sure to review the auction catalog online closer to the event. If you would like to be notified when that inventory is available, please share your email here.
