Introduction to Traditional Quilting

Schedule: Wednesday mornings, June 17 June 24 and July 1; 9 am – noon
Cost: Classes are free for all first-time attendees. Limited spaces are available, please call to request your space.

The three half-day class will begin with an introduction of quilt terminology, types of fabric and tools, orientation to machines and sewing methods specific to quilt making and select their fabric and decide what their project will be for the class.
During sessions 2 and 3, quilters will work on both individual and group quilt projects, such as pot holders, table runners and other possibilities. The last session will be focus on finishing individual and class projects while discussing next steps in developing an on-going quilt class schedule for quilters of all ages.
