Having moved to the Island just three short years ago we are still experiencing all the "thriving cultures". It is such a wonderful thing living somewhere with so much character. We are in the Commercial Snapper/Grouper Fishery...and "Online" Accounting & Tax Preparation, specializing in help for the Commercial Fishermen, and other small businesses.

This was the first festival for my wife and I. It was very interesting and we agreed that it instilled an immediate urge to start carving. The food was wonderful and the festival was very enlightening. We will see you next year. Thanks

My father and I attended the 1998 festival. It was my first time at the festival and definately not the last. The people were great, the decoys beutiful and the clam chowder was delicious. Thanks for providing me with a great weekend. P.S. Did I win the Browning Shotgun?

NEVER LOOK FOR WAYS TO CHANGE WHAT WE DO BEST, OR HOW WE DO IT. THIS IS WHY OUR HERITAGE REMAINS WHAT IT IS TODAY. WHEN YOU SEE A BOAT OR A DECOY, YOU KNOW WHO BUILT OR CARVED IT WITHOUT ASKING. THIS IS WHAT MAKES US WHO WE ARE. WE SHOULD NEVER COPY SOMEONE ELSE, OR WE LOSE OUR IDENTITY.

Great webpage! I became a CSWM member during the first (or second) year after organization and have waited patiently for the museum. I must admit thought, at times I had my doubts but, now it is finally under construction!! I can't wait for it to open.

Even Pikes Peak in Colorado Springs, Colorado, does not hold a candle to Core Sound. I am so thankful to have a heritage like mine. Hopefully, I will soon be within driving distance so I can visit the gift shop and museum.
